BUTTERFLIES.
(Sent by Mary Armitage, Frankton.) See the butterflies at play, In the sun, Dressed'in colours bright and gay, Everyone; White and yellow, brown and red, Flutter by; Here’s another overhead, Flying high. Stay a moment, pretty things, Ere you pass; Spread your lovely shining wings On the grass; We won’t hurt you if we run After you. Don’t be frightened; it’s for fun When we do.
