Sussex. —Kent, in their first innings made 297 (Woolley 120, Langridge took five wickets for 52 runs) ; second innings, 163 (Tate took four wickets for 41, Langridge five for 40). Sussex, first innings 159 (Freeman took six wickets for 66 runs) ; second innings, eight wickets for 302 runs (Parks 112). Sussex won by two wickets. Derby v. Worcester. —Derby, first innings, six wickets for 434 declared (St'orer 132, Smith 85, Jackson 80). Worcester, first innings, 211 (Worthington took four wickets for 41, Mitchell, five for 87); second innings, 210 (Slater took eight wickets for 46). Derby won ‘by an innings and thirteen runs. Gloucester v. Hampshire.—Gloucester, first innings, 394 (Lyon 174, Newman took five wickets for 97 runs) ; second innings, eight wickets for 207 runs, declared (Hammond 77). Lancashire. —Warwick, first innings 217, (MacDonald took six wickets for 72 runs); second innings, 278 (Parsons 65). Lancashire, first innings 366 (Watson 97, Eckersley 86, Mayer took five wickets for 66 runs) ; second innings, three wickets for 132 runs. Lancashire won by seven | wickets. Essex v. Glamorgan.—Essex, first innings, 216; second innings 148. Glamorgan, first innings 119; second innings, 67. Essex won by 178 runs. Northants v. Somerset. —Northants first innings, eight wickets for 475 declared (Balcewell 204) ; second innings, three wickets for 89 declared.
