TOUR IN AUSTRALIA. TO BROADCAST ON SUNDAY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ■ 1 y WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Mr H. H. Sterling, General Manager of the New Zealand Railways, has received the following cablegram from Mr Clapp, Railway 1 Commissioner in Victoria, dated Melbourne, July 7: — “The New Zealand Farmers’ party will broadcast from the observation car on the Reso train at 8 p.m., Melbourne Time, on Sunday, through station 3L0.” It is pointed out that this will be the first occasion on which the experiment of broadcasting from a railway car has been attempted in Australia.
