HAMILTON UNION. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS. Mr S. E. Senior presided at the "weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Hamilton Rugby Union. The notice of motion to rescind the previous action of the committee granting a clearance subject to being in order from Technincal Old Boys to Frankton of J. Byrne lapsed for want of a seconder. The offer of a local radio dealer to install a loud-speaker at Rugby Park was not entertained. Domain Board and Rugby Park. The Hamilton Domain Board wrote intimating the terms upon which it was prepared to grant a lease of ~1 years of Rugby Park. The committee nominated a subcommittee to approach the Domain Board to further discuss the finance and rental clauses. Thames Union and the Peace Cup. JUNIOR ADVISORY BOARD. Mr A. P. Nelson presided over a meeting 'of delegates to the Junior Advisory Board, which took place on Monday evening. After discussion it was decided that the fine imposed upon the Marist Club for its third grade default without notice on the 21st ult. was to stand.

The withdrawal of the Marist third grade team was accepted with regret, and it was agreed to re-grade to the fourth grade five of its players whose weights are known to be within the fourth grade limits. The remainder are to weigh at next Monday’s meeting if desirous of qualifying. The Frankton Club notified the withdrawal of its junior team.

Cray presided over a large attendance. It was resolved that the Union write Waikato Union applying for 20 seats for the British-Waikato match at Hamilton. The Union’s delegate (Mr Boulton) reported that the Waikato Union had flatly declined to"' grant a Waikato rep. match at Cambridge, both the Taranaki and Wairarapa matches being fixed for Hamilton. Of the £2O granted by the New Zealand Rugby ‘Union for school footballs the Waikato Union had alocated four balls to Cambridge, one already having been received by the Fencourt School direct, instead of having been applied for through the Cambridge Union. It was decided that the Hamilton Union be written to expressing dissatisfaction with the very late arrival of the Hamilton City senior team on the ground on Saturday. The referee slated that although the team arrived in .Cambridge in plenty of time they were half-an-hour late in taking the field. The Hamilton Union wrote submitting the Clarl: Cup draw for the entire competition, Cambridge to play Old Boys next Saturday. The Union also forwarded the Peace Cup draw. Fixtures for Saturday.
