FABIAN CLUB.
* LECTURE ON PERU. Despite the wet weather there was a good attendance at the meeting of the Fabian Club. Miss A. J. Greville presided. The speaker for the evening, Mr. Gluckman, gave a very interesting address on '‘The Civilisation of Peru. He briefly surveyed the geographical features of the country and its form of government, and outlined the fiscal, judiciary and agrarian methods which were adopted under the rule of the Incas.
