CONFERENCE AT WELLINGTON. RE-ARRANGEMENT OF DATES. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The annual New Zealand Trotting Conference will be held in Wellington to-morrow. The re-arrangement of dates in cases whereclashes occur, either with trotting clubs or with racing clubs, will bedealt with. The Northland Trotting Club, Whangarei, which proposed to race on October 27—Labour Day—the same date as the second day of the Auckland Trotting Club’s Spring Meeting, has been asked to select another dale. Already the Waikato Hunt Pub holds its annual race meeting on that day, and three fixtures in the one province on the one day would he to the disadvantage of all clubs concerned.
