DELAYED PROSECUTIONS)
MOTORISTS’ COMPLAINTS. EARLIER NOTICE DESIRED. The delay in bringing prosecutions against motorists for exceeding the speed limit was referred to by Mr N. J. King at a meeting of the Hamilton Agency of the Automobile Association last night. The speaker pointed out/that sometimes four or five weeks elapsed before a motorist received notice that he was to be prosecuted, by which lime recollection of the speed at whk'h he travelled over a certain stretch of road was difficult. On the recommendation of the speaker it was decided to urge that notification of the time, place and speed he given to transgressors viithin 14 days •Jiien prosecutions were pending.
