PROTEST AGAINST DISMISSALS. “A MONSTROUS POSITION.” CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Members of the City Council made a strong protest this evening against the Government’s action in dismissing more men from the Addington railway workshops. Mr D. G. Another 30 to 35 men had received notice that evening. FINDING OTHER WORK. PROBLEM BEING CONSIDERED. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The Minister of Railways, the Hon. W. A. Veitch, has advised Mr W. J.
