MOTOR ACCIDENTS.
KNOCKED OFF BICYCLE. SUSTAINED FRACTURE OF SPINft WHANGAREI, Monday. A fracture of the spine was received by Mr David Chisholm, aged 25, a married railway employee, as the' re-< suit of an accident this evening. Mr Chisholm was riding a bicycle when he came into collision with a six-ton timber lorry and trailer, owned by Messrs Lovatt and Sons, timber millers, and driven by Mr G. Dobson, TRAM AND CAR COLLIDE. THREE PEOPLE INJURED. WELLINGTON, Monday. Three people were injured When t motor car struck a tramcar at Ha-. taitai yesterday. Miss Gwen Jenkins, aged 18, suffered injuries to her left hip and shock. Miss May Hanna, aged 32, received injuries to her head and concussion and shock. Miss Alma Hanna suffered from shock only, and the driver of the car received a lacerated wound in his scalp. LITTLE BOY KILLED. KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. Fatal injuries were received by Laurence James Allen, ager 7 £ years, son of Mr Peter Allen, of Otahuhu, when he was knocked, down by a motor car.
