SERIOUS GHARGE.

Reformative Detention Ordered.

Found guilty on a charge of indecent assault at Huntly, Robert Arthur Samways, aged 24, was to-day sentenced to reformative detention not exceeding three years. Mr Justice Herdman said prisoner had commenced a career of crime with eighL convictions for housebreaking ir 1919. There were other convictions for theft and mischief and it was difficult to know what to do with prisoner.
