BRIDGE PARTIES. On Friday, Mrs A. 11. Nicoll gave a bridge afternoon. The room was decorated with autumn shaded chrysanthemums and leaves. Mrs Nicoll received her guests in a frock of beize lace and black panne velvet coat. [Those prseent were: —Mesdames E. E. | Roberts, N. Sutherland, N. Banks, R. Neely, Innes Taylor, S. Tapley, G. Miss Christophers, black georgette l'rock and Chinese coat. Dance. On Thursday, Mr and, Mrs W. Vosper gave a dance for their two grandchildren, Misses J. A-mbury and G. Martyn. The room was prettily decorated with tree ferns, balloons and streamers. Mrs Vosper received her guests in a frock of navy blue'georgette.
