AIR VICTIMS.
AN IMPRESSIVE FUNERAL. LARGE CROWD AT GRAVESIDE. MANY AIRMEN PRESENT. The funeral of the two victims of the Te Awamutu air crash, Captain A. W. Saunders and Mr Alfred Minchim, took place at the Te Awamutu cemetery this afternoon. The cortege was a long one, taking eleven minutes to pass, a given point. The coffin of Captain Saunders was oovered with a Union Jack, and there was a big muster of ex-service men. Several planes carrying members cjf the Auckland Aero Club arrived during the morning, and the members, along with members of different' flying clubs in Waikato, joined the following. ■ • • The coffins were covered / with wreaths. • , The Te Awamutu band preceded the hearse and played funeral marches. ! / The service, which was an impressive one, was conducted by Rev.
