The premier of South Australia Hon. L. L- Hill, who has been discussing with the Victorian premier, Hon. F. .Hogan, some of South Australia’s difficulties, said the financial position of the railways which were threatened with the loss of £2,000,000 for ,the current year was so unsatisfactory that the Ministry proposed to appoint a Royal Commission to investigate the managements of railways.
