FOOTBALLERS HURT.

SATURDAY'S TOLL. FRANKTON’S BAD LUCK. A. 11. (“Slip”) Griffiths, of the Frankton Football Club, had the misfortune to have the muscles of his side torn in the match against City last Saturday and yesterday sought medical aid. Griffiths will not be available for about three weeks. Frankton has been particularly unlucky with its three-quarter line this season. Griffiths is the third man to strike trouble, the other two being E. Everest and A. L. Park. Both the latter are still under medical care. Playing against Old Boys A on Saturday in a junior match, J. L. Dickie, of the Frankton team, was kicked on the hand. A painful wound was inflicted between the fingers, requiring five stitches.
