INTERESTING ITEMS. Easter railway bookings in Wellington this year showed an advance on last year’s figures. This year 5054 passengers booked on the excursions, as against 4602. last year—an increase of 452. The aggregate of ordinary and excursion passengers was 7045, or 489 more than In 1929.
