LYNCHED A NEGRO. SHERIFF BADLY INJURED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—Copyright, (Received April 26, 11.30 a.m.) VANCOUVER, April 25. At Valhalla, South Carolina, Allen Green, a negro, aged 60, was taken from prison and lynched by a mob who suspected him of attacking a white woman. Sheriff Thomas, who attempted a rescue w-as so roughly treated that he was taken to the hospital with a fraotured skull.
