GLEN MASSEY NEWS

SURPRISE PARTY. A surprise party was taken to the residence of Mrs S. Fowler at Cden Massey to bid farewell to Miss A. Derbyshire, who is leaving the school to lake up a position at Hamilton West School. An enjoyable evening was spent in dancing and games. Miss Derbyshire was wished success in her new position, and regrets were expressed at her departure. The evening terminated with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.” Among those present were: Mesdames S. Fowler, A. Sutherland, G. Bull, A. Brockett, Ruller, senr., G. Duck, Runciman, E. Ruller, J. Bowen, Misses E. Fowler, D. Burt, C. Bowen, P. Steadman and M. Ruller, M. Brockett.
