BUTTER AND CHEESE. MARKET CONTINUES FIRM. The improvement noted in the. London dairy produce market jn Friday’s cablegrams is confirmed in advice received yesterday by Dalgcty and Company, Ltd., from Samuel Page and Son, dated London. Monday. The market for both butler and cheese was reported to be firm. New Zealand finest salted butter was quoted at 122 s to 124 s and Australian finest, at JISs to 1225. The quotations for New Zealand cheese were: 74s to 75s for while, a rise of is; and 77s to 78s for coloured, an advance of 2s.
