MR MALCOLM ROSS. WELL-KNOWN JOURNALIST PASSES (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The death has occurred of Air Malcolm Ross, at the age of 68. • Malcolm Ross', .who was born at Wellington, took up a journalistto career, and'occupied several important positions. He acted as correspondent for > several Australian and London papers. He was official war correspondent with the New Zealand Forces in Egypt, Gallipoli, and France during the Great War, Ills widow is also well-known in Journalistic circles. An only son, Noel, died In London in 1918. MR ALEXANDER BRUCE. A pioneer of the Thames goldfield, Mr. Alexander Bruce, has died at the Thames Hospital, aged 87. He was bom ip Auckland on August 22, 1843. MR. DANIEL KEITH. THAMES, Monday. The death has occurred at Parawat of Mr. Daniel Keith, a very old resident of the Thames district. Mr. Keith was born at Rothesay, Scotland and came to New Zealand 47 years ago. s i MR. SAMUEL HODGE. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The death occurred on Sunday at his home, Epsom, of Me. Samuel Ilodge, aged 80 years. MR. J. M. FAD YEN. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The death has occurred of Mr. .lames Morrison McFadyen, an old resident. of Waiuku, aged 76 years, lie was born in Dunedin.
