WESTFIELD DISPUTE.
FURTHER DEVELOPMENT AUCKLAND, Saturday. The Auckland City Council’s recent decision to call tenders for slaughtering at the West-field abattoir has been followed by action of the Auckland branch of the union, which, with the support of its headquarters in Christchurch, has advised its members not to tender for the contract.
