Tho action of the Delhi police in arresting 13 prominent members of the Indian National Congress is the latest development in the movement to violate the salt laws. The arrested persons include Davidas, Gandhi’s son, who was the second to fall into the hands of the police. He is charged with sedition. Gandhi at present is at Bhimrad. He arrived there yesterday to the accompaniment of a chorus of specially composed seditious songs, sung by a large group of peasant women. The number of arrests to date is 150. Some of those arrested have received sentences ranging from one year to two and a-half years' imprisonment with hard labour.
