NOTICE OF INTENTION TO RAISE A LOAN OF £2OOO. Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Mangawara River Board to be held at the Office of the Board, Public Trust Buildings, Hamilton, on WEDNESDAY. MAY 7. 1930, the undermentioned Resolution will be moved: — That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and The River Boards Act, 1908, and all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Mangawara River Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order that for the purpose of redeeming a Special Loan of Two Thousand Pounds maturing on the , 31st day of March, 1932, the Board borrow the sum of Two Thousand Pounds upon the security of a Special Rate on the capital value of all rateable property in the Board’s District on a graduated scale as follows: On all lands classified “A” the sum of three-farthings in the pound. On all lands classified “B” the sum of three-eighths of a penny in the pound. On all lands classified “G” the sum of three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. Such Special Loan to be known as the Lower Mangawara Improvements Repayment Loan, 1928. That the term for which such loan shall he borrowed shall be twenty years: that the rate of interest shall not exceed six pounds per centum per annum; and that the provision for repayment thereof shall be a sinking fund of not less than Three pounds per centum per annum; and that the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first year be not paid out of the loan.
