(To the Editor.) Sir, —The annual meetings of house--'holders for the election of school com■mittees will he held throughout the Auckland Educational District on Monday next. It is hoped that they will evoke considerable attention. The interest of the householders, as betokenyed by a representative attendance at c the annual meetings, heartens the •■"teachers and and also puts fresh vigour into those who have carried the f heavy end of school administration ’ during the past year. Interested parents ensure an active committee, and the co-operation of an active committee ensures that the teachers 'will evie of their best.—l am, etc., PEDAGOGUE.
