QREYMOUTH COUNCIL TO PAY. INSUFFICIENT PRECAUTIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH,- Wednesday. The Greymouth Borough Council has been ordered by Dir. Dleldrum, S.M., in the Court this morning, to pay £lO, with costs, to Joseph Rudhall and £9 9s in costs to Elsie Rudhall, for damages sustained to their clothes when a motor-cycle skidded on wet tar on the Marsden Road. Plaintiffs claimed that insufficient precautions had been taken by the council to give warning of the tar to users of the thoroughfare.
