HERD TESTING

COMMITTEEMEN MEET. ANNUAL CONFERENCE. The annual Hamilton conference of committeemen of the New Zealand Co-operative Herd-testing Association was held to-day. Mr- J. T. Bryant presided over an attendance of 28. This morning was spent in discussion on the uniform set of rules w’hich it is proposed should be adopted by all Herd-testing Associations in the Dominion. The rules w’ere fully explained by Mr C. M. Hume, general manager of the Dominion Federation. Discussion on the balance-sheet was taken in committee. This afternoon the conference is discussing suitable means of identifying cows for sale purposes.
