GOVERNMENT’S FATE.

OPTIMISTIC MINISTER. PERFECTLY HEALTHY STATE. MR ATMORE CONFIDENT. (Special Reporter.) “I am satisfied that the Government Is in a perfectly healthy state,” said the Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education, addressing a deputation at the Huntly Town Hall last evening. “There will be ample opportunity for us to carry out our policy. When the present Government to-ok office It did not have a majority of the House, but since then Its measures have had the support of the majority of the House. Nothing has happened, in my opinion, to cause that state of affairs to be reversed, and I cannot see why wo shall .not be able to proceed with the remainder of our policy endorsed by the public at the last election.”
