THE OBSTETRICAL APPEAL.
RESPONSE IN HAMILTON. The response to the Hamilton appeal for the Obstetrical Society’s chair has passed the £4OO mark, and as yet the canvasses of the business area and outlying districts have not been completed. It is hoped that the remainder of the sum required will be as readily forthcoming as the initial amount, so that the campaign may be closed. I’aking into consideration the purpose to which the money is to be devoted, subscriptions should come freely. The happiness of the country’s future mothers and children depend upon it.
