PAYMENT BY RESULTS.
MEETING THE DEPRESSION. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel.—Copyrlgtn. (Received April 9, 12.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 9. The State Government’s policy to cope with the present industrial depression included the adoption of a system of payment by results and in cases where the 44 hours’ week obtains and is retained, payment will be made only for the actual time worked.
