Mrs. E. J. Mears, of Hamilton, has left on a visit t-o Wellington.

Mrs. J. E. Page left Hamilton today for a holiday in North Auckland. Later, Mrs. Page will leave for the South Island, where she will make her home.

Mrs. 11. Valder and the Misses Valder, of River Road, are visiting Tongariro for the Rotary Convention.

Miss Eila Guy, who is training at Karitane Home in Wellington, is visiting her home in Hamlton.

Mesdames E. Wadham and G. Roberts. of Auckland, are at the Hamilton Hotel. ENGAGEMENT. The engagement is announced of Sadie Maude, third daughter of Mrs. Wright and the date Mr. Jacob Wright, of 11 von Tempsky Street, Hamilton, to Walter, third son of Mr. Walter Leitch, of Papanui, Christchurch.
