GOOD GENERAL COMPETITION. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—Copyright. (Received April 1, 11-30 a.m.) LONDON, March 31. At the wool sales, 9665 bales were offered, including 2195 bales of New Zealand wool. Approximately 4400 bales were sold. There was a large offering of greasy .Merinos and a limited selection of crossbreds. There was good general competition, and prices were maintained. New Zealand clips: Greasy Merino, Bankhouse, top price 13Ad, average 12d; crossbred, Makarewa, 9Jd and 3Jd.’ ________
