ACCIDENT IN SWAMP.

FLAX-CUTTER FATALLY HURT. FOXTON, Tuesday. Albert Accourt, single, a flax-cutter for Whitaunui, Ltd., while engaged in Ihe swamp yesterday met with a serious and subsequently I'alal accident. A llax-hook slipped from his hand and Hie blade slruclc him in the hack of the neck, indicting a wound three inches deep. He was conveyed to the Palmerston North Hospital, where he succumbed this morning.
