Rain fell on three days only, the maximum fall being recorded on the 24th, when .36in was registered. In March, 1929, rain fell on 12 days, the maximum fall being I.77ins. The average rainfall for March over the last 30 years is 3.59in5. The following table shows the comparison between the quarters of this and the previous year:
