SUCCESSFUL PICNIC
RESULTS OF SPORTS
The first annual picnic of the Hamilton Dairy Machinery Traders was held at Raglan on Saturday, favourable weather prevailing. About 50 cars and buses assembled in Ward Street in the morning. \t the Raglan carnival club grounds a highly successful sports programme was enjoyed. This was completed sifter mid-day when lunch was partaken of, after which the president presented the trophies to the various prize-winners. During the day ice cream, drinks, milk and hot water were provided by the picnic committee. In the afternoon the party dispersed to the various beaches. The committee are highly pleased with their initial venture and the employees of the various milkingmachine and separator firms enjoyed a thoroughly happy outing which it is hoped will he the forerunner of many more.
