CLEANING ELASTIC HOSE.

It is well known that as soon as one decides to wash elastic hose one may as weli order new hose, as the elasticity is spoilt by washing. Starch and magnesia in equal quantities are mixed and rubbed well on to the clastic hose, which are then left rolled up for about 12 hours, then the mixture rubbed in with a flannel or a soft brush, and. then shaken free of powder, cleans admirably, and does not affect the rubber. This way the elastic hose wears much longer.
