About 5100 bales were sold. There was a large selection of greasy merinos, principally to makers soits, and an excellent supply of scoureds. A good tone prevailed, and late rates were fully maintained. New Zealand clips: Greasy orossbreds top price 10|d, average 9Jd; best greasy halfbred Hid; best super halfbred slipe’s, C.M-G/Eclipse, Is; finest slipe crossbred lambss, 12£d.
