In the Savile Cup contest this afternoon, Hawke’s Bay A defeated Wairarapa A, 10—1. In the handicap cup match Parewanui (4) defeated Poverty Bay (0), 10 —6. The Savile Cup final will -be played to-morrow between Homewood and Hawke’s Bay. THE JUNIOR CUP. MATANGI B BEATS WAIMAI. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, Friday. The polo tournament was continued. In the final of the Junior Cup, Matangi B defeated Waimai B, by 7 to 2The Handicap Cup. In the Handicap Cup Matangi A (14) defeated Feilding (17) by 24 —21. THE TAHU RHODES CUP. WON BY BANKS' PENINSULA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. The Christchurch Polo Association’s tournament was continued today in fine weather. The ground was fast. Rhodes Cup matches resulted : Christchurch B (handicap 16) beat Amuri B (handicap 12), by 22 goals to 19. Amuri A (12) beat Mayfield (16), by 24 to 16. Pareora A (4) beat Christchurch A (scr.), by 4 goals to i. Pareora B (12) heat Banks Peninsula (11), by 15 to 13. CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. In the final of the Tahu Rhodes Cup Banks Peninsula beat Christchurch A 7—6. In the semi-finals Banks Peninsula beat Mayfield 11 —9, and Christchurch A beat Amuri B, 11 —9.
