Henderson, accompanied by Sir Robert Yansitlart (Permanent Under-Secretary), Dr. Hugh Dalton (Parliamentary Under-Secretary) and Sir Percy Loraine (High Commissioner in Egypt), this afternoon received at the Foreign office the Egyptian delegation, consisting of Nahas Pasha (the Prime Minister), Moharram Pasha (the Minister of Public Works), and Makaram Ebcid Effendi (Finance Minister). v Arrangements were discussed for the public opening on Monday morning of the conference which is to negotiate the Anglo-Egyptian treaty. This ceremony, at which the Foreign Secretary and Nahas Pasha will speak, will be held in the so-called Loearm? Room of the Foreign Office.
