t SLEEP-BRINGERS. The gift of pillows stuffed with hops by the Queen to the Putney Hospital for Incurables will help to further the revival of these herbal pillows as slecp-bringers -and soothers for invalids. Collar-shaped cushions for invalids and travellers stuffed ' with lavender, lemon, verbena or rose pot-pourri are now made and there is a big demand for them. These are covered in silk or velvet to match the room or the outfit of the traveller.
