WEDDINGS.

ATTWOOD—NELSON. CRT!; ■ The wedding was celebrated at St. Andrew r ’s Church, Claudelands, on Wednesday evening of Thelma Nelson, only daughter of Mr and Mrs W. T. Nelson, Rotokauri, and Norman George Mtwood, youngest son of Mr and Mrs G. R. Attwood, Hamilton East. The Rev. Hay officiated. As the bride entered the church with her father the organist played The Wedding March. The bride wore a frock of ivory crepe de chine. The veil of embroidered tulle which was caught back with a band of orange blossoms was worn by the bride’s mother at her wedding. She carried a sheaf of Lilium Auratum. The bridesmaids in attendance were Glayds Keith, cousin of the bride, and Bonnie Attw'ood, sister of the bridegroom. They wore frocks of green and pink crepe de chine respectively, with tulle head-dress to tone, and carried shower bouquets. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr Ernest, Attwood. After the ceremony Mr and Mrs Nelson, parents of the bride, entertained their guests at the Centreway Tea Rooms. The party then went to Mrs Attwood’s home (mother of the bridegroom) and were entertained until the happy couple left by the. Limited for the honeymoon. TAYLOR—REID. The marriage was solemnised at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Hamilton. on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 10th., between Flora Isabel, daughter of Mr and Mrs Stewart Reid, of Ngahinapouri, and Clyde Villicrs Taylor, of Tauranga. ‘The friends of the bride had decorated the church In mauve and primroso flowers. The service was choral, and was celebrated by Rev. James Hay, of Matangi. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a gown of ivory ring velvet, fashioned with long close-fitting sleeves, and corsage. Tile skirt having an uneven hemline, and being lined with ivory georgette. The embroidered tulle veil was mounted with a double row of orange blossom, with a cluster at one side, and a bouquet of pink and white flowers was carried. The four bridesmaids were Miss G. McDonald (Auckland), Miss R. Taylor (Auckland). Miss Joy Taylor (Auckland), and Miss Noeline Taylor (Tauranga). Miss McDonald and Miss R. Taylor wore frocks of primrose crepe ondella, fashioned with close-fitting bodices and flared skirts, falling to the ankles. Each carried a sheaf of yellow flowers. T'he. two small bridesmaids, Misses Joy and Noeline Taylor, worn frocks of shaded wisteria net. and carried posies to tone. Mr W. Reid was besi man, and Mr E. O’Regan was groomsman. Patterson (Auckland), Mrs Herd, Mrs Dalton and Mrs I-I. Taylor (Auckland), Mrs Munro (Tauranga), Mr and Mrs Clark, Mrs W. Reid, Mr and Mrs C. Reid, Mr and Mrs R. Thomas, Mr and Mrs N. Reid, Misses G. and D. Reid, Miss J. Reid, Mr and Mrs McCallum, Mr and Mrs Saunders, Mr and Airs Glasson, Mrs Alexander, Mr and Airs H. Meadway, Mrs Vickers, Miss Vickers, Miss Kyd, Airs and Miss Brough, Mrs Hay. Mr and Mrs .-Vilen; Mrs Ruddy,Miss Ruddy, Miss Jenson, 'Messrs Oats, S. and E. Reid, F. Saunders, I. S. and E. Allen. After the usual toasts were honoured, Mr and Mrs Taylor left for the wedding tour, the bride travelling in an autumn suit in printed velvet and woollen crepe de chine, with hat to tone. SANSON—ROWE. The marriage was celebrated in All Saints Church, Matamata, on Monday, March 10th., the Rev. Athey, Put-a-rum, officiating, between Lillian Annie second daughter of 'Mr and Mrs E. R. Rowe, Matamata, and Haydon Theodore, youngest son of Mr A. Sanson, Ngatca. Entering the church on her father’s arm, the bride wore a gown of ivory georgette a.nd silver lace. The veil was of embroidered white silk net and fell to the ground from a coronet of orange blossom and tulle The bride carried a shower bouquet of cream and white flowers, with asparagus fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Inez Rowe, sister of Hie bride, wore a frock of daffodil yellow georgette, and a hat of rainbow tulile and georgette. Her bouquet was of dahlias and chrysanthemums to match the frock. Mr Wiri Turner acted as best, man. Tho guests were entertained at the home of the bride’s parents, and later at a dance at the Kensington tearooms, Airs Rowe wearing a frock of dove grey georgette and laco, with jade lace straw' hat and carrying a posy of mauve scabious. The bride’s travelling suit was of marigold silk miianesc with hat to tone and coat of fawn repp trimmed with marabout.
