The Australian cricketers who are to lour England commenced a match against Tasmania yesterday at Launceston. The Tasmanians batted first on an easy wicket. Atkinson played attractive cricket and scored 50 runs in 84 minutes. He hit six fours. Fairfax was the most impressive howler. Australia lost one wicket for 140.
