The second and concluding day of the Invercargill Trotting Club’s annual meeting was held to-day in fine weather before a large attendance. The course was in good order. Concluding results were ; JELLICOE HANDICAP. AVon by four lengths, a head between second and third. Lily Harold was fourth. Time, 2m 54 3-ss. VISITORS’ HANDICAP. Class 2.21; 1 mile. 3 CAPTAIN WRACK, limit 1 1 SUN CHILD, 60yds 2 8 WINNIE CHRYSLER, 12yds 3 Also started ;—9 Baby Joan, 6 Coldwood, 7 Sunshade, 2 Harold Lee, 10 Direct Wave, 4 Alva Lass, limit; 11 Wild Bingen, 12yds behind. Won by three-quarters of a length, half a length between second and third. Sunshade was fourth. Time, 2m 18 3-ss. The Totalisator. The totalisator handled £12,372, against £11,724 10s last year. The total for the meeting is £27,067, against £25,264 10s last year.
