BY-LAW BREACHES.

HAMILTON MAGISTRATE’S COURT. SMALL FINES IMPOSED. Charged with cutting the corner of River Road on to the Traffic Bridge, and further with not being the holder of a driver’s licence, Keith Aburn was fined 10s, with costs 10s, on each charge, before Mr F. W. Platts, S.M., in the Hamilton Magistrate’s Court this morning. For riding their bicycles without lights, H. C. Cullen and Jack Robinson, were fined £1 with costs 10s. Percy Baker and Rex Kennah, charged with having no lights attached to their motor cycles, were fined 10s and £l, with costs 10s respectively, the former being asked to further contribute £1 for having no driver’s license. Harry W. Fisher and N. Stewart, who left their respective motor cars standing in Victoria Street for longer lhan 30 minutes, were ordered io pay costs 10s. George Wilmob was fined £3, with costs 15s, for failing to take out a heavy traffic license for his motor lorry at Ngaruawahia. A. C. Shaw was ordered to pay costs 10s on account of the motor cycle he was riding having a cut-out attached to the silencer. Shaw explained that the machine had been used only temporarily in his work for l.he Public Works Department, pending |:he acquisition of a new machine. “We have had numerous complaints about this type of offence,” remarked Traffic Inspector P.
