FOREST LAKE SCHOOL
TO-RKORROW’S GATHERING. The interest of the residents in their school was shown at a recent meeting. Eulhusiastic committees have been formed to control the sports meeting, stalls, and amusements at the meeting on Saturday. An interesting sports programme has been arranged. Besides the races for the Herbert Smith Cups, there will be items for the old boys and girls, novelty races, sack races, etc. Separate grops of ladies are managing stalls for produce, fancy goods, sweets, ice cream, etc. One of the large rooms will be turned into a tea room. Mr J. A. Young, M.P., has consented to open the meeting at 1 p.m. To show the growth of the school another assistant teacher has been appointed, making a staff of seven. The necessity of enlarging the school has now become urgent, as even the corridors have- been turned into class rooms.-
