At billiards on Friday, Lindrurn made 22,655, including a break of 1012; McConachy, 21,170, including breaks of 464 and 680; Smith, 22,571, including breaks of 626 and 834 ; New man (playing), 17,210, including breaks of 547 and 900 unfinished. On Saturday, in the finals, Me-. Conachy made 24,224, including breaks of 505 and 416; Lindrum, 23,787. McConachy began the last session with a deficiency of 219, but a brilliant break of 416, following smaller items, put him on the road to victory. Lindrum, in the last 15 minutes, made a plucky effort, taking many risks in a vain effort to snatch the game and the match from the fire. Smith made 24,355, including breaks of 514 and 957; Newman, 19,475, including a break of 1053.
