MOTOR CAR OVERTURNS
ON WAY TO THE RACES.
MAN AND WOMAN INJURED

DARGAVIL'LE,
Monday
While a crowd was on the road to the racecourse this morning a motor car containing five persons, including four Maoris, coming into town, in endeavouring to pass another car, overturned, with the result that two occupants, Maimcte Waihonga (the driver) and a woman, Marina Wircmu, were taken to hospital rather seriously injured. The car was considerably damaged. The car was going at a great pace, and it was fortunate there were no more casualties.
