LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, manager of the optician business in the estate of the late Mr J. Bremner, supplies the following observations on the weather; — Barometer. Saturday 30-0 Monday 30.05

Thermometer. Max. Min. Sunday .. 78.0 52.0 Monday . 79.0 63.0

The Barometer has very little movement and now registers 30.05. Indications are for dull humid weather to-day and to-morrow with warmer temperature and northerly winds prevailing. Light showers. Mean temperature 71 degrees.

GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for westerly winds moderate to strong and backing by west to south after about 16 hours, then freshening. Weather cloudy to overcast with showers and probably becoming colder. Barometer unsteady but rising after 16 hours.
