THAMES TOURNAMENT. / LOCAL TEAMS IN FINAL. WON BY CLARK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) THAMES, Thursday. Tht Thames .Bowling tourney was continued in fine weather this morning. Results: Semi-finals. Adamson (Thames) defeated Pilkington (Hamilton), 21 —12. Clark (Thames) defeated Fraser (Mount Eden), 23—22. At the 20th. head Fraser was leading by three points, but on the last head he played two inferior shots, Clark securing a four. Final. Clark defeated Adamson, 17—14. This is the second time in succession at the Thames tournament that local teams have had to play off’ for the final, and it is the sixth year that Clark’s team has been in the final. THE HAMILTON CLUB. VISIT TO NGARUAWAHIA. The following rinks will represent Hamilton against Ngaruawahia, at Ngaruawahia, to-morrow:— L. Barton, D. Wilson, J. Smith, S. Hawken (s.). W. Awdry, S. The following are asked to supply cars: Messrs S. Hawken, W. Horton, R. Pilkington, W. Pitcher, W. Pomeroy. Cars will leave Hamilton green at 1.30. THE FRANKTON CLUB. Ordinary club games will be played on the Franktoh Railway green tomorrow’. Over the week-end an interesting tournament will he held in which rinks from Auckland, Te lvuiti, Papakura and Avondale will participate.
