THE MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB. NEW SECRETARY APPOINTED. The Maungakiekic Golf Club lias appointed Mr L. Wilson Taylor, of Kohimarama. as its secretary, to succeed Mr Sloan Morpeth, who will leave shortly to take up a new position in Melbou^ie. Mr Taylor, who is a married man with one child, is a retired army officer. He will take up his duties at the beginning of the New Year, and he will have charge of .both the Titirangi and One Tree Hill links. There were over 30 applicants for the position from various parts cf New Zealand, as l'ar south as Dunedin.
