TWO YOUTHS CHARGED. MASKS AND SAWN-OFF RIFLE. (Dy Tet’g-raph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. In the Magistrate’s Court James Wilfred Gray, aged 19, and Charles Robert Gray, aged 17, were jointly charged with breaking and entering a -hop in Manchester Street with intent to commit a crime. Charles Robert Gray was further charged with being found Mill a .44 calibre rifle in his possession, with intent to commit crime. Tne police slated that accused were caught on the premmises mentioned at about 2 o'clock tliis morning. They were in possession of masks and one had a rifle, the barrel of which, sawn off short. Accused were remanded to January 7. Bail was not applied for.
