SUMMER MEETING NOMINATIONSTO CLOSE ON FRIDAY NEXT. The Summer meeting of the Manawatu Racing Club will be held at the Club’s course at Awapuni, Palmerston North, on December 26, 27, and 28. An attractive programme has been prepared and there should be splendid racing over the three days. Nominations for all events and forfeits (1 sov.) for the 24th Palmerston North Stakes will close at 9 p.m. on Friday next, with the acting secretary (Mr M.
